Evelynn Matilda Garcia, 31, left our world far too soon on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017.

There will be a memorial service at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19, at the Evangelical Church in Glasgow.

She was born on June 8, 1985, in Glasgow. She was a strong, free-spirited woman who remained upbeat no matter what was happening in her life. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her father and stepmom, Joseph M. and Denise E. Garcia of Glasgow; her mother, Mary K. Garcia of Billings; four brothers, Joseph J. Garcia and his wife, Chanese, of Columbus, Sean M. Garcia of Billings, Clayton J. Flood and his wife, Melissa, of Bremerton, Wash., and Jon P. Garcia and his wife, Kenzy, of Glasgow; a half-sister, Delores Higgs of Colorado; children, Micheal of Longmont, Colo., Eddie Jr. and E'lan of Wolf Point, Hermie and Shayne, both of Billings; 10 nieces and nephews; and her other family and friends in recovery groups in Glasgow and Butte.
