FRIDAY – DEC. 2

BLOCK OF BUCKS COLLECTION DAY – watch for employees for Montana Army National Guard, Glasgow High School Student Council Members and Soroptimists as they collect donations on downtown intersections.

9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. - Christmas Open House at First Community Bank, 540 2nd Ave S., Glasgow. Coffee, punch and homemade cookies will be served.

10 a.m. - 3 p.m. - Open House at Edward Jones, 54172 US Hwy 2, Glasgow.

3 p.m. - 6 p.m. - Holiday Open House at Nemont Telephone. Refreshments, Holiday Deals and Pictures with Santa.

4 p.m. - 7 p.m. - Open House at The Loaded Toad, Little Campers, Wheat Grass Arts & Gallery, Yoga Wellness Center, Sean R. Heavey Gallery and Boxcar Road Books – 527 2nd Ave S.. Glasgow.

6 p.m. - 8 p.m. - Display of 100 different nativities available for viewing at Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints church, 15 City-County Airport Road, Glasgow.

7 p.m. - The Ecumenical Evening Worship Service at the Town Hall Community Room, St. Marie.

SATURDAY – DEC. 3

BLOCK OF BUCKS Family Shopping Day – If you could spare a couple of hours to help families shop, report to the Glasgow Elks at 8:45 a.m. Participating families should report to the Elks at 9 a.m.

9 a.m. - 2 p.m. - A Flea Market will be held at the Valley County Senior Center, at 328 4th St. S in Glasgow. Tables $5 each. For more info or to book a table, call 228-9500.

9 a.m. - 12 p.m. - Annual Scandinavian Bake Sale at First Lutheran Church. The sale will feature krumkaka, lefsa, sandbakkles, breads, rosettes, spritz and an array of Lutheran Ladies specialties and crafts.

SUNDAY – DEC. 4

2 p.m. - Pinochle every 1st and 3rd Sunday at the Glasgow Senior Center. Everyone welcome.

5-8 p.m. - The Saint Marie Fire Department Structure Drills. Anyone who would like to be a volunteer fireman or firewoman, drop by the firehouse.

6 p.m. - Everyone is welcome to attend a special Christmas Devotional at the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Church with a broadcast including the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. 15 City-County Airport Road, Glasgow.

TUESDAY – DEC. 6

6:30 p.m. - The Nashua Lions Club meets on the first Tuesday of each month at the Nashua Senior Citizens’ Center. New members are always welcome.

5 p.m. - 6 p.m. - Bell Mortuary Christmas Open House – 701 2nd Ave S, Glasgow.

6 p.m. - Christmas Tree of Remembrance Service at Bell Mortuary. Please bring an ornament with your loved one’s name and dates to be placed on our tree.

7 p.m. - Evangelical Church Women's Christmas Program, 152 Aberdeen, Glasgow.

WEDNESDAY – DEC. 7

8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. - Flu Clinic at the Valley County Health Department. It’s not too late to get vaccinated against four different flu viruses.

12:30 p.m. - The annual Turkey Dinner for Senior Citizens will be held at the Opheim School. Please RSVP to the school by Nov. 30.

THURSDAY – DEC. 8

Awards Dinner for Patriot’s Pen winners and their families at the VFW Post 3107 in Glasgow.

SUNDAY – DEC. 11

5 p.m. - The Legion and Auxiliary #41 Family Christmas Dinner at the VFW Hall. There will be a program and Santa will be stopping by.

WEDNESDAY – DEC. 14

1-4 p.m. - Veteran service officers for MT Veterans Affairs will be in Glasgow at the VA Clinic to meet with veterans applying for benefits. Please bring a copy of your discharge paperwork (DD214).

THURSDAY – DEC. 15

9:30 – 11:30 a.m. - Veteran service officers for MT Veterans Affairs will be in Malta at the Malta City Hall to meet with veterans applying for benefits. Please bring a copy of your discharge paperwork (DD214).

SUNDAY – DEC. 18

2 p.m. - Pinochle every 1st and 3rd Sunday at the Glasgow Senior Center. Everyone welcome.

TUESDAY – DEC. 20

The Saint Marie Fire Department Fire Board meeting.

12-4 p.m. - Valley County Food Bank, serving only Valley County residents, located at 1020 1st Ave. N. is open the third Tuesday of every month. First-timers bring a photo ID and proof of physical residence. More info., Nancy Bowman at 263-1253.
