Cape Air, Montana’s essential air service carrier, announces its return to a non-stop schedule on both Sidney and Havre routes effective Monday, Oct. 31, 2016.
In April 2016, due to a pilot staffing shortage, Cape Air adjusted its non-stop scheduled service in Montana to include stops on both Havre and Sidney routes. The Havre route included one inbound and outbound scheduled stop in Glasgow each Thursday, while the Sidney route was affected with one daily inbound and outbound scheduled stop in Glendive. Both the Havre and the Sidney routes will return to daily non-stop service effective Oct. 31, 2016. No additional cities were impacted by this change.
“Cape Air is pleased to announce its return to a full non-stop schedule in Montana,” said President of Cape Air Linda Markham. “We greatly appreciate the understanding and support from the communities, the DOT and the EAS Task Force as we worked through the staffing difficulties that impacted our operation from the effects of the nationwide pilot shortage.”
Cape Air operates daily, year-round flights to five regional communities in eastern Montana from its hub in Billings. All Cape Air flights in Montana are $49 each way.
