Boys and Girls Aim for Hardware in Kalispell
The Glasgow cross country team was in Plentywood Oct. 15 for the last regular season meet of 2016. The Scotties swept the meet with both the boys and girls taking the number one spot.
For the boys, Glasgow had six runners place in the top ten, with Ellis McKean, Merlin McKean and Wilson Overby sweeping the top three spots.
Emily Kolstad was the lead runner for the girls, who had four top ten finishers.
Boys team results: Glasgow 21, Richey/Lambert 75, Wolf Point 102, Brockton 130, Poplar 152. No score for: Plentywood, Culbertson, Frazer, Froid/Lake and Williston Trinity.

The Scotties will travel to Kalispell on Saturday, Oct. 22 to compete in the Montana All-Class State Championship meet. Making the trip to represent the Scotties will be: Emily Kolstad, Brooke Westby, Morgan Guttenberg, Ali Cunningham, Brinlie Nielsen, Alaina Sallee, Tyisha Begs His Own, Katie Kaiser, Ellis McKean, Ike Braaten, Merlin McKean, Wilson Overby, Jacob Meiers, Colin Jamba, Kasey Seyfert, and Colton Pewitt. According to head coach Rod Karst, the team is healthy and ready to compete and are in the hunt for some hardware.
