Myrna Lou (Wesen) Bell, 81, of Sheridan, Wyo., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016, at her residence after a short illness.
She was born the 10th child of Louis and Elvira (Osterberg) Wesen on July 7, 1935 in Glasgow, Mont. She grew up in a loving Christian home and graduated from Glasgow High School in 1953. She attended and graduated from Trinity Hospital School of Nursing in Minot, N.D., in September 1956.
She married David E. Bell on Jan. 7, 1957. She worked at hospitals in Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota and Wyoming and really loved her work as a nurse. She took eight years off while her children were young after which she started back to work at the Worland Hospital. She felt her greatest accomplishment was her children. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was always ready to offer a kind word to support anyone.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, David.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Maronick and her husband, John, of Dayton, Wyo., and Cynthia Hackett and her husband, Robert, of Canton, S.D .; two sons, Michael J. Bell and his wife, Amber, of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Jeffrey S. Bell and his wife, Jackie, of Billings; three grandchildren, Ashley, Ethan and Megan; and many great-grandchildren.
A visitation began at 12 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at Trinity Lutheran Church, followed by Funeral Services at 1 p.m. with Pastor Phil Wold officiating. A reception was held immediately following at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 215 W. Works St. in Sheridan.
