State Meet on the Horizon
With just two more regular season meets to go before the state cross country meet in Kalispell, the Scotties are going strong.
The varsity and JV runners competed at the Havre Invitational Oct. 1. The Scottie boys placed second overall just behind Fergus, with Ellis McKean leading the team with his fifth-place finish. The girls placed third behind Fergus and Havre, with Brooke Westby claiming the top spot with her fifth-place finish.
Varsity boys team scores: Fergus 34, Glasgow 57, Havre 78, Browning 111, Belt/Centerville 211, Shelby 227, Rocky Boy 244, Poplar 259. No scores for: Hays Lodge Pole, Frazer, Great Falls Central, Harlem, Dodson/Whitewater, and Cut Bank.
