TUESDAY – OCT. 11

5:30 p.m. - A BBQ hosted by Glasgow Volunteer and Long Run Volunteer fire departments in the Shopko Parking Lot starting at 5:30 p.m. in support of Fire Prevention Week.

WEDNESDAY – OCT. 12

Foot care starting at 1:30 p.m. in Nashua. Sign up at the center.

SATURDAY – OCT. 15

5-7 p.m. - The Nashua Volunteer Fire Department annual Fall Dance and Fundraiser at the Nashua Civic Center. Serving from 5-7 p.m. with a meal of pulled pork, baked beans and baked potatoes. Live music by Trial By Fire will begin at 7 p.m. Cost is $6 per person at the door.

SUNDAY – OCT. 16

1:30 p.m. - The third Sunday of each month is a Social at the Nashua Senior Center. Those attending are asked to bring snacks.

1:30-5 p.m. - Everyone is invited to join the Nashua Senior Citizens at the Nashua Civic Center to celebrate the 40th anniversary of being charterred. Music by Three Amigos, refreshments, door prizes, and a raffle.

2 p.m. - Pinochle every 1st and 3rd Sunday at the Glasgow Senior Center. Everyone welcome.

MONDAY – OCT. 17

5 p.m. - Nashua PTO meets at the Nashua School.

TUESDAY – OCT. 18

12-4 p.m. - Valley County Food Bank, serving only Valley County residents, located at 1020 1st Ave. N. is open the third Tuesday of every month. First-timers bring a photo ID and proof of physical residence. More info., Nancy Bowman at 263-1253.

TUESDAY – OCT. 19

1-4 p.m. - Service officers for the Montana Veterans Affairs will be visiting Glasgow for those wanting to apply for benefits on Wednesday, Oct. 19, at the VA Clinic and on Thursday from 9:30-11:30 a.m. in Malta at the Malta City Hall. Bring a copy of your discharge papers (DD214) with you. The service officers will visit nursing homes and assisted living centers by appointment only. Call 406-265-4225 if you are interested.

SATURDAY – OCT. 22

The annual FMDH Foundation Dinner at the Cottonwood Inn. A no-host social begins at 5:30 p.m. with dinner to follow at 6. Dinner tickets are $28 each or two for $50 and can be purchased by Mary Kate at the Foundation 228-3614 or any Foundation Board member: Jon Bengochea, Mikel Erickson, Shelly George, Somer Hoerster Becky Johnson, Carrie Mesman, Stan Ozark or Tracey Waarvik.
