2016 Color Run Raised $4,000 This Year

Taylor Strommen is all grins after getting blasted with powdered paint at the 2016 Color Run. The goal was $5,000, that amount was selected because it cost the Warriors on the Water program $4,600 this summer to pay for the housing while the veterans were at Hell Creek in July. The Glasgow Student Council members wanted to cover that cost and raised around $4,000 this year. Rod Karst, student council advisor said "We will just have to work a little harder next year. Thanks to all that participated in the run, whether you were a walker/runner, a paint thrower, or a sponsor, we couldn't have done it without you!" He also said there was a local group that has offered to help reach the $5,000 goal.
