Beginning band lessons will be held in the middle school music room. Here is the following schedule: Flutes 9-10 a.m.; Clarinets 10-11 a.m.; Saxophones 11 a.m. - 12 noon; Trumpets/French horns 1-2 p.m.; Trombones/Baritones/Tubas 2-3 p.m.; Percussion 3-4 p.m. The lesson schedule on Wednesday, Aug. 24, will be afternoon only, time to be announced, as there is a middle school open house on that day.
WEDNESDAY – AUG. 24
2-5:30 p.m. - The Valley County Health Department is holding “Back-to-School Clinic” at the Health Department at 501 Court Square #11, Glasgow. Immunizations given every Monday from 2-2:45 p.m.
THURSDAY – AUG. 25
10 a.m. - 3 p.m. - The Charles M. Russell National Wildlife Refuge (CMR NWR) Community Working Group will meet in Fort Peck at the Fort Peck Interpretive Center. Lunch is available for $10. The public is encouraged to attend and provide input as the group seeks to influence the vitality and sustainability of the six-county region surrounding the CMR NWR. A free Youth Outdoor Skills event at the Glasgow Trap Club. Registration for the first session begins at 1:30 p.m. for youth under the age of 10. Youth ages 10-18 are scheduled from 3:30-5 p.m. with registration beginning at 3 p.m. Parents/guardians need to be on hand to register and sign for youth under 18. The Glasgow Trap Club is located off Skylark Rd. N of Glasgow. Contact Marc Kloker at FWP 228-3704.
7-10 a.m. - Biscuits and Gravy will be served by the Nashua Senior Citizens at the Nashua Senior Center.

1-4 p.m. - Service officers for the Montana Veterans Affairs will visit the Glasgow VA Clinic and on Thursday, Sept. 15, they will be at the Malta City Hall from 9:30-11:30. Bring a copy of your discharge paperwork (DD214) with you. Veteran service officers will visit nursing homes and assisted living centers by appointment only. Call 406-265-4225 if you are interested.
