Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913
It’s going to be a hot night on the town for Independence Day this year (even if it is a Monday). The Glasgow and Long Run Fire Departments have teamed up with Gene Hartsock and the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce to put on a fireworks show at the fairgrounds on July 4, weather permitting. Official start time: Around dark. Don’t miss it!
And don’t forget to start your day at the opening ceremonies for the Northeast Montana Veterans Memorial site. The day has finally arrived! Beginning at 10 a.m., there will be refreshments and live music, as well as featured speaker Chuck Hayter. The event organizers would like to remind everyone to bring a chair. If weather intrudes, the festivities will be moved to the Fort Peck Town Hall.
