MVD Requires Appointments for Most Services

Angela Austin of the Montana Department of Justice, Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) in Glasgow and Wolf Point wants to inform everyone you must have an appointment in order to take a written test or road test, get a license or identification card, transfer an out-of-state license, or have a VIN inspected. Walk-ins are acceptable for license renewals and replacements but due to the limited staffing in Glasgow there is no guarantee you will be assisted. To make an appointment go to http://www.dojmt.gov/driving or call 866-450-8034 for assistance. Office hours for the MVD in Glasgow are Mondays 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a closure from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., and Fridays 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a closure between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m.
