Diane Helen Thomas-Carey

Diane Helen (Lawrey) Thomas-Carey, 76, of Saint Marie, Mont., passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016.

She was born Aug. 15, 1939, to William Charles and Evelyn Lucille (Jones) Lawrey in Chicago, Ill. At the age of 12, she moved with her family to California.

She was an avid reader and loved animals. She enjoyed playing Dominoes with her friends in Saint Marie.

Survivors include four children, Carl Reed Thomas, Lauri Ann Corn, William David Thomas and Kathleen Lynn Thomas; six grandchildren, Tammy Thomas, Daniel Sanders, Steven Thomas, Joshua Sanders, Kira Thomas and Lucas Sanders; and 15 great-grandchildren.

The family requests that donations be made in Diane’s name to the Humane Society of America.

Bell Mortuary of Glasgow is assisting the family with arrangements.
