Larry Olson, age 72, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016 at his home in Miles City, Mont.
He was born on Sept. 13, 1943, in Terry, Mont., to Alvin and Mildred (Wang) Olson. He attended

He attended schools in Four Buttes, Froid and Culbertson. He went to the University of Montana at Missoula where he received a bachelor degree in business, graduating in 1967.
He enlisted in the Army in the spring of 1967, serving three years as finance clerk in Germany. He returned to Miles City where his parents lived and eventually became a journeyman bricklayer, a member of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craft workers. He laid bricks for many of the buildings in Miles City. He worked throughout Montana and Idaho.
In the spring of 1996, he and Linda met and have been together since then with his little black dog, Molly, joining in 2003. After retiring, he began gardening and building beautiful unique furniture.
He was preceded in death by his parents and older brother Jack. Survivors include a younger brother, Ron Olson of Great Falls and Linda and Molly of Miles City.
