Veterans Memorial and Wheatgrass Arts Benefit

Wheatgrass Arts will hold the Art Square Silent Auction on Friday, May 6 from 6-8 p.m. Donations will benefit both the Northeast Montana Veterans Memorial in Fort Peck and Wheatgrass Arts and Gallery.

More than twenty “Art Squares,” will be up for bid. These 6” square canvasses can currently be viewed in businesses around town, such as The Busted Knuckle, Glasgow Flower and Gift, and The Loaded Toad. As well as the Art Squares, a live “quick draw” event with local artists will take place with those finished pieces going up for bid as well by the end of the night.

Paintings were donated by local, regional, and national artists including Leith DeWeese, Anna LaBrie, Jason Brock, and Mariah Holter.

Bidding will open April 27 and may be placed at the gallery or by calling Mary at (406) 230-0148. Bids will close at 8 p.m. May 6.

This is all in the name of growing our creative community. Art is for everyone. It is a social catalyst that helps communities thrive. Help Wheatgrass make Glasgow the artistic hub of Northeastern Montana!

Admission and registration for door prizes are free will donation. There will be live music by Bob Strand and Tess Fahlgren, and food and refreshments will be served. Wheatgrass Arts and Gallery is located at 531 2nd Ave. So.
