MFW Hunter Education course at the Quonset building at the VFW Headquarters in Glasgow. Classes from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Monday – Friday and 7:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. on Saturday. The adult field course is from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday, beginning at the Qipmset.

1-4 p.m. - The Pysanky (Ukrainian) Easter Egg decorating at the Wheatgrass Arts and Gallery. The fee is $30 with a $10 nonrefundable deposit required. Six slots available, so register as soon as possible. Contact Mary Fahlgren at 230-0148 or come by the Wheatgrass Arts and Gallery.
3 p.m. - Prairie Symphonette’s Spring Concert will be performed at the Scobey High School gym.
Ducks Unlimited 30th annual fundraising banquet at Cottonwood Inn. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and prime rib dinner served at 7 p.m. Early bird tickets available at D&G Sports & Western and Valley Bank through March 7. After that, contact Ken Jansa at 228-2031.

2 p.m. - The Nashua American Legion Auxiliary Unit #104 will sponsor a Birthday Party for the Legionnaires at the Nashua Senior Citizens. The auxiliary will have a short meeting afterwards. For more info, call Judy at 746-3213 or contact any Nashua auxiliary member.

4:30-6:30 p.m. - Indian Taco Supper Benefit for Karl Johnson at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Nashua.
TUESDAY – MARCH 15
12-4 p.m. - Valley County Food Bank, serving only Valley County residents, located at 1020 1st Ave. N. is open the third Tuesday of every month. First-timers bring a photo ID and proof of physical residence. More info., Nancy Bowman at 263-1253.
4-6 p.m. - Open House at Glasgow City-County Library. Appetizers, door prizes and showcase building updates.
WEDNESDAY – MARCH 16
1-4 p.m. - MT Veteran Affairs Service Officers will be at Glasgow VA Clinic. Bring a copy of discharge papers (DD214) with you. Service Officers will visit nursing homes and assisted living centers by appontment only. Call 265-4225. They will be in Malta at the Malta City Hall from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 17.

7 p.m. - The American Legion Auxiliary #41 will meet at Nemont Manor at the Mitchell apartment No. 240.
SATURDAY – MARCH 19
9-10 a.m. - Registration begins for the non-competitive walk/run across the face of Fort Peck Dam. Water and fruit will also be provided. Bikes or dogs are NOT welcome. Cost is $5 per person and is for all ages. No preregistration needed. However, there are registration forms available at Glasgow and Nashua High Schools (students under the age of 18 must have a parent sign the registration/release form), the Ft.
