Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913

Special Thank You

Now that things have calmed somewhat, I'd like to thank all the volunteers and other law enforcement agencies that helped us reunite Maci with her family.

This was an enormous task and it would've been nearly impossible to accomplish on our own. We are grateful beyond words.

Those that helped did not hesitate and in fact, most contacted us to see what they could do.

The following law enforcement agencies provided officers and/or resources:

Federal Bureau of Investigation, Ft Peck Tribal Police, Ft Peck Tribal Fish & Game, Roosevelt County Dispatch, Wolf Point PD, Bureau of Indian Affairs Criminal Investigators, Valley County Sheriff's Office, US Border Patrol, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Glasgow PD, Montana Highway Patrol, Roosevelt County volunteer fire departments, and BNSF police.

Countless civilian volunteers from Roosevelt County and surrounding areas stepped in to help by donating their time, ATVs, food, and whatever else they could spare. They are perfect examples of what a caring community should be and I'm fortunate to serve them.

Last, and most importantly, I want to thank Maci herself. She's an incredibly brave little girl and I can't begin to imagine the strength it took to survive such a nightmarish ordeal. We all love her and can't wait to watch her grow up.
