WEDNESDAY – FEB. 10

1-4 p.m. - Service officers for the Montana Veterans Affairs will meet with veterans interested in applying for benefits. at the Glasgow VA Clinic. Bring a copy of your discharge/separation (DD214) papers with you. Veteran service officers will visit nursing homes and assisted living centers by appointment only. Call 406-265-4225 if you are interested.

5:30 p.m. - Ash Wednesday services at 6:30 p.m. and Soup Supper at 5:30 p.m. at First Lutheran Church, 641 2nd Ave. N., Glasgow begin Lent observance. More info, 228-4862. On the following Wednesdays, we will have CSI worship at its regular 5:30 p.m. time with soup suppers at 6 p.m. For more info, call 406-228-4862.

THURSDAY – FEB. 11

3 p.m. - The Valley County Transit Board will meet at the Valley County Transit office (use the back door/east entrance).

SATURDAY – FEB. 13

8-11 a.m. - A biscuit and gravy breakfast, along with pancakes, will be served at the Nashua Senior Center.

2-4 p.m. - First Annual Valentine’s Day Event at the St. Marie Town Hall. There are scheduled events such as Fun and Games for the kids from 2-4 p.m., a potluck dinner from 4-6 p.m. and a chance to dance with a fireman from 6-9 p.m. Donations accepted.

MONDAY – FEB. 15

Meals are served at 12 noon at the Nashua Senior Citizen Center on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Those wishing to participate can stop by the center to sign up or leave a message at 746-3370.

6:30 p.m. - There will be a community meeting with the County Commissioners at the Lustre School to discuss Valley County concerns.

TUESDAY – FEB. 16

12 noon – Fort Peck Senior Citizens' monthly potluck at the Fish Hatchery. All are invited.

12-4 p.m. - Valley County Food Bank, serving only Valley County residents, located at 1020 1st Ave. N. is open the third Tuesday of every month. First-timers bring a photo ID and proof of physical residence. More info., Nancy Bowman at 263-1253.

5 p.m. - There will be a community meeting with the County Commissioners at the Fort Peck Town Hall to discuss Valley County concerns.

7 p.m. - There will be a community meeting with the County Commissioners at the Hinsdale School to discuss Valley County concers.

WEDNESDAY – FEB. 17

5:30 p.m. - Opheim School Board meets in OHS Home Ec. Room.

7 p.m. - Opheim Rodeo Club meets at the Mint Bar in Opheim.

THURSDAY – FEB. 18

1 p.m. - The Opheim Spelling Bee at OHS.

6 p.m. - The Opheim Drama Class presents the play, “Speed Dating Nightmare.”

SATURDAY – FEB. 20

The early-bird deadline for ticket purchase for the Hi-Line Gobblers 10th annual fundraising banquet scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 27, at St. Raphael’s Parish Center gym.

SUNDAY – FEB. 21

2 p.m. - Pinochle every 1st and 3rd Sunday at the Glasgow Senior Center. Everyone welcome.

MONDAY – FEB. 22

4 p.m. - There will be a community meeting with the County Commissioners at the Frazer School to discuss Valley County concerns.

TUESDAY – FEB. 23

3 p.m. - There will be a community meeting with the County Commissioners at the St. Marie Town Hall to discuss Valley County concerns.

6 p.m. - There will be a community meeting with the County Commissioners at the Opheim Town Hall to discuss Valley County concerns.

WEDNESDAY – FEB. 24

Valley County Spelling Bee will be held in Opheim.

SATURDAY – FEB. 27

6 p.m. - The Hi-Line Gobblers 10th annual fundraising banquet at St. Raphael’s Parish Center gym. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., and a prime rib dinner, catered by the VFW and the VFW Ladies’ Auxiliary, will follow at 6 p.m.
