Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913
According to the Dickinson State Blue Hawk's website, DSU Head Baseball Coach Jason Watson has announced former Glasgow resident and Scottie athlete Jason Thibault has signed with the Blue Hawks for the 2016 season.
Thibault attended the 2015 fall semester at Montana State University - Billings as a member of the Yellowjacket Baseball team. During his time in Glasgow, Thibault was a four sport standout as he participated in football, basketball, baseball, and track and field. Thibault earned All-State in baseball, basketball and football and was an honor roll student.
"I chose to sign with DSU because it is a good fit academically and athletically and I have the opportunity to play two sports," said Thibault.
Thibault will also be joining the Blue Hawk Football team next fall. Jason is the son of Willie and Joan Thibault and plans to major in Education at Dickinson State University.
"Adding Jason to our team gives us depth all over the field. He can pitch, catch and play anywhere on the infield as well as the outfield. He is a tremendous athlete and has a great future as a Blue Hawk," stated Watson.
Thibault joins former Glasgow Reds teammates Johnathan Koessl of Nashua and Wacy Ortmann of Wolf Point.
