Three Leave it All on the Mat at Glasgow Invitational

Glasgow hosted their 20th annual wrestling invitational this weekend at the Glasgow High School. Eight teams descended on the school for six rounds of wrestling.

Three of Glasgow's 12 competing wrestlers went undefeated in the tournament: Gabe Hallock,103 (2-0), Matt Reyling,113 (3-0), and Alex Hallock, 152 (4-0).

The remaining nine wrestlers each gained at least one victory throughout the day. Coach Jory Casterline expressed satisfaction with the performances at the meet. "I've got nothing but positive things to say," he said. "It was a good weekend of wrestling for us."

Casterline pointed out that the freshmen wrestlers on the team are starting to turn a corner and added that some of them picked up their first wins of the year.

Glasgow will be competing this week in Ft. Benton on Thursday, and Great Falls Friday and Saturday.
