Sullivan Appointed Supervisor for Region 6

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks has named Mark Sullivan as the new Regional Supervisor for Region 6. He is replacing Tom Flowers. The Fort Peck resident holds a master's degree in wildlife management from Montana State University. His previous roles with FWP include work as a wildlife management biologist in Malta and block management coordinator for Region 4. His most recent position with the organization was wildlife manager for Region 6.

FWP Director Jeff Hagener told the Great Falls Tribune that Sullivan and fellow appointee Barb Beck (Region 5) will, "make immediate contributions to FWP's management team." The new supervisor stresses his intention to work closely with area landowners on a wide range of issues.

Sullivan, who has 26 years on the job with FWP, told the Courier that he hopes to remain in the role indefinitely, pointing out that he and his wife Barbara love it here in Valley County and plan to stay. The couple has two daughters, Betsy and Holly, both of whom currently reside in Minneapolis, MN. Sullivan also serves on the town council for Fort Peck.
