SATURDAY – APRIL 4
11 a.m. - Glasgow Kiwanis Club Easter Egg Hunt at Hoyt Park by the swimming pool for ages 1-3, 4-5 and 6-8. Info, call Stan Ozark, 228-9336.
11 a.m. - The Opheim Northern Lights 4-H Club will have an Easter egg hunt in the park if weather is good and in the school if it is not. Anyone 6th grade and younger is welcome to attend.

APRIL 5
NO Easter Sunday services at Queen of Angels in Nashua.
8-9 a.m. - Easter breakfast served at the Opheim Lutheran Church. A freewill offering will be collected to help with the costs of VBS. Thrivent Financial is helping to sponsor the event. Everyone is invited to attend this breakfast.
9 a.m. - Easter service at the Opheim Lutheran Church.
12 Noon – Easter service at The Holy Family Catholic Church in Glentana.
5 p.m. - Easter service at the New Life Church in Opheim. Sunday School at 4 p.m.
MONDAY – APRIL 6
7 p.m. - Heirloom Quilters meet at the Glasgow Senior Citizen Center.
TUESDAY – APRIL 7
8:30 a.m. - Spring pictures will be taken at the Nashua School.
5-7 p.m. - Public meeting to discuss downtown planning held at Soma-Dis Deli. Please complete the survey at http://www.planglasgow.com and plan on attending the meeting. It is important for local citizens to provide feedback throughout the survey.
5-7 p.m. - Tech Night with Brian Gregory at the Library. It’s a Q & A session and FREE to the public.
FRIDAY – APRIL 10
6 p.m. - Scout Troop 850 spaghetti dinner fundraiser and live auction at the VFW in Glasgow.
12 noon - Nashua Senior Citizen Assoc. noon potluck and meeting. After the meeting, there will be cards and social time for those who wish to stay.
SATURDAY – APRIL 11
9 a.m. - American Legion and Auxiliary District 1 Spring meeting at the Sherman Inn located at 200 E Main Street in Wolf Point. Registration at 9 a.m., Department program at 10 a.m., a joint banquet begins at 12 noon and Legion and Auxiliary business meetings begin at 1 p.m.
9 a.m. - 3 p.m. - Walleyes Unlimited Banquet and Spring Craft Bazaar at the Valley Event Center in Glasgow with local and statewide vendors displaying and selling products. For booth reservations, call Sandy Maczka at 228-4660 or 263-4861.
4:30 p.m. - Banquet Raffle, Games and Silent Auction begins during the Walleyes Unlimited annual Banquet and Spring Craft Bazaar at the Valley Event Center.
6 p.m. - Walleyes Unlimited annual Banquet at Valley Event Center – a Beef and Walleye dinner.

Service officers for the MT Veterans Affairs will be visiting Glasgow and Malta to meet with veterans who are interested in applying for benefits. They will be at the Glasgow VA Clinic from 1-4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, and in Malta on Thursday, April 16, from 9:30-11:30 a.m., at the Phillips County Hospital Conference Room. If you are interested in applying for benefits, bring a copy of your discharge paperwork (DD214) with you. Service officers will visit nursing homes and assisted living centers by appointment only. 8:15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. - The Job Service Employers' Committee (JSEC) will host an Employee Engagement Seminar at the Cottonwood Inn in Glasgow. 6-7:30 p.m.- Annual Cuisine For the Cure 4 Fundraiser for the NE MT Relay for Life at the Glasgow Elk's Club. Cooks prepare foods from various parts of the world and share them at a night of fun. 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. - The 25th annual Makoshika Quilt Show held at the Eastern Plains Event Center in Glendive. Doors will open on Friday, April 24, from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and again on Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Admission will be $5 per person, but ages 10 and under will be free! Each day the DCAU/Gallery will serve a luncheon and entertainment during the lunch hour can be expected.
