The Valley County Rifle Pistol Club (VCRPC) just finished another very good year. The club hosted 14 matches in 2014, such as .22 LR, Muzzleloader rifle, Military rifle, Benchrest rifle, Levergun matches.
The VCRPC has set the dates for the 2015 matches and they are as follows:
Saturday, April 25 – Lever gun Silhouette Match
Saturday, May 2 – Schuetzen Rifle Match
Saturday, May 2 – Vintage Military Rifle Match
Saturday, May 30 – Muzzleloader Turkey Plank Match
Saturday, June 6 – .22 LR Rimfire Match
Saturday, July 11 – Muzzleloader Turkey Plank Match
Sunday, July 26 – All Comers Benchrest Match
Sunday, July 26 – Vintage Military Rifle Match
Fri.-Sun., Aug. 7-9 – Summer Heat Schuetzen Rifle Match
Fri.-Sun., Aug. 7-9 – Benchrest Rifle Match
Saturday, Sept. 5 – Lever Gun Rifle Match
Saturday, Sept. 26 – Muzzle Loader Turkey Match
Saturday, Oct. 3 – VCRPC 100 Shot Schuetzen Challenge
Saturday, Oct. 17 – .22 LR Rimfire Match
All matches start with registration and sight in at 8:30 a.m., with the Match starting at 9 a.m. at the VCRPC Shooting Range located north of the Glasgow Airport on Johnson Rd. Anyone interested in more information can pick up a schedule with match info at the firearm counter at D&G Sports and Western.
The club thanks all its members for all their volunteer time to keep the shooting range looking so good. For current members, the 2015 membership cards are ready at D&G. Anyone interested in a membership can get one at D&G or get info by emailing the club at [email protected]. Any club member not receiving emails from the club, please drop the club an email and you will be put on the list. The gate combination will be changed around Feb. 1, so hang on to your 2014 number until it is changed.
