Velva Jeanne Sharp

Velva Jeanne (Keough) Sharp, 69, passed away from natural causes on Friday, Jan. 16, 2015, at the Billings Clinic in Billings, Mont.

No funeral services are pending.

She was born on Aug. 29, 1945, in Glasgow, the daughter of Clarence and Bernice (Stowell) Keough. She was raised north of Glasgow and moved into Glasgow at a young age.

On Nov. 22, 1963, she married Gerald Sharp in Glasgow. She worked at Buttrey’s, Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital, Aces and 8’s, and Quick ‘N Tasty. She enjoyed putting puzzles together and playing games on the computer.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Gerald, in 2013.

Survivors include Cindy Greenwood and her husband, Darrell, and their children, David and Zachary, Therese Turner and her husband, Dwight, and children Douglas Turner and Katrina Hernandez, Gerald R. Sharp Jr. and his children, Sam and Johnny Sharp, Bill Sharp, Terry Sharp and his family, Gabbrial and Aaron Sharp.
