The Great Indoors

A milestone event is nearing for the new wildlife exhibit at the Children's Museum of Northeast Montana, a downtown Glasgow destination attraction in the making for young and not-so-young outdoors enthusiasts. A "Safari Social" and fundraiser is planned for 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29. It's a chance to tour this significant addition to the community and visit with exhibit producers. Skip Erickson, above, has long envisioned the exhibit to showcase his prized hunting trophies and educate visitors about habitats, animals and conservation. The Safari Social cost is $20 at the door. Appetizers and beverages? Yes.
