Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913
Timothy Mark Allen, "Big Uncle Tim," 58, died at his home in Saco on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014.
Memorial services will be at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
He was born Oct. 14, 1956, in Yakima, Wash., and raised in Shelton, Wash. He had a very successful college career, starting out with a scholarship for wrestling and ending in owning his very own forestry services called Allen Forestry Service. He was a hard-working, dedicated, loyal, kind-hearted, amazing man who will never be forgotten.
He had a lot of great accomplishments, as far as having a sled dog team in Alaska, racing R.C. cars, raising and showing Bouviers dogs, raising two very well-respected young men and, meanwhile, being the most generous big-hearted man you will ever come across.
He had many great talents and many great hobbies, too many to mention. A few we will share: He was a gifted athlete, dedicated husband and father. Anyone who was lucky enough to be graced with his presence knew just how wonderful, fun and amazing he truly was inside and out. With that being said, and only a small piece of paper to write about his accomplishments, amazing qualities, and all his gifts that he was so talented at, everyone and everything he truly loved throughout his short time being with us, this was the best way we could sum up his amazing adventures and personality throughout his beautiful, bold life on God's Green Earth.
Survivors include his parents, Ruby Rae Deason Allen and Virgil Eugene Allen; his wife, Louise Ledgerwood Nelson; two sons, Eddie Nelson and Joshua Nelson; two brothers, Ronald Eugene Allen and Eldon Allen; one sister, Debra Allen Heager; two sisters-in-law, Cindy Allen and Sheryl Allen; four nephews, Timothy Allen, Robert Keyzers, Jason Allen and Nicklaus Allen; and three nieces, Jessica Allen, Andrea Heager and Lindsey Allen.
He will be forever missed, loved, cherished, and admired for his free spirit. A big-hearted loving, caring man he will forever be without a doubt. We all love you, Tim. Rest your amazing soul in PEACE.
