Vera C. Odegard

 Vera C. (Hanson) Odegard, 84, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at the Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital in Glasgow, Mont., of congestive heart failure.

 She was born on June 30, 1930, in Mondovi, Wis., the daughter of Engwal and Viola G. (Dahl) Hanson. She was raised and attended schools in Mondovi.

 She married Elwood Odegard in 1947 in Mondovi and moved to Glasgow in 1951. He passed away in 1988.

 She was active in the Assembly of God Church in Glasgow for many years. She worked as a dietician at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital for 32 years until she retired.

 She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Odegard; and three brothers, Vern Hanson, Bernard Hanson and Orvin Hanson.

 Survivors include two sons, Scott Odegard of Fort Shaw, Mont., and David Odegard of Glasgow; one daughter, Karen Vosen of Great Falls; 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

 Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 29, at 11 a.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Glasgow with interment in the Highland Cemetery. Bell Mortuary of Glasgow was in charge of arrangements.
