Rained Out

FMDH Foundation Golf Tourney Postponed

Rain, Rain, would not go away, causing the FMDH Foundation to postpone its annual golf tournament and major fundraising event.

The date for this year's tournament has been rescheduled for Sunday, Sept. 7, at Sunnyside Golf and Country Club in Glasgow, Montana.

"We hope you will still join with the foundation to make this year's tournament another tournament to remember," foundation director Mary Kate Tihista said. "Please contact the foundation office at 228-3614 for any changes to your team due to the unforeseeable date change."

The tournament will be a four-person scramble. There will be a maximum of 28 four-person teams this year. The entry fee is $300 per team. The tournament will have a hole-in-one prize sponsored by Hi-Line Ford, along with five team cash payouts (net), as well as prizes on every hole.

The registration entry fee includes green fees, a continental breakfast, box lunch, and BBQ dinner served immediately following the tournament. The cash prizes, and various hole prizes, are all donated by businesses throughout the area. Their generosity enables the foundation to sponsor the tournament.

"Not only is this a fun event but, but most importantly the event supports the foundation's mission to provide quality medical services in this area," Tihista said. "The foundation's support is felt in all departments of the hospital, as well as throughout our community."
