Dorval Kittleson, 90, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at the Valley View Nursing Home in Glasgow, Mont.
He was born Oct. 14, 1923, in Glasgow, the son of Alex and Eva (Stevens) Kittleson. He was raised in the Galpin Community, and on May 26, 1945, married Blanche Fullerton in Glasgow.
He enjoyed farming and considered sitting on the tractor a vacation. He was always building and inventing something. He also enjoyed ice fishing and piloting his houseboat. He loved his kids, western TV shows and country music. He also enjoyed wrapping up dollar coins in cellophane and giving them to kids.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Blanche, in 2012; one son, Michael Kittleson; and two grandsons, Bradley and Brian Frye.
Survivors include children, Dianna Golimowski and her husband, Robert, of Glasgow, Rocky Kittleson and his wife, Colleen, of Glasgow, Clay Kittleson and his wife, Holly, of Fort Peck, Darin Kittleson and his wife, Anne, of Great Falls, and Karla Frye-McGill of Wolf Point; 21 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a sister, Frances Drtina and her husband, Punky, of Sumner, Wash.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 8, at 10 a.m. at the Bell Chapel in Glasgow, followed by interment in the Galpin Cemetery in Fort Peck.
Bell Mortuary of Glasgow was in charge of arrangements.
