Victor Forslund, 61, passed away on the Jack and Pearl Nickel’s ranch in McCone County south of the Fort Peck Dam on Friday, June 20, 1014.
Cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date.
He spent three years loving his life on the ranch, working long hours and enjoying each day. He appreciated the sunrise of morning and the sunsets of nightfall.
He was born to Victor and Elizabeth Forslund on July 31, 1952, in Syracuse, N.Y. He was schooled at Morrisville, N.Y., and after graduation spent seven years in the Air Force. He was a cross-country truck driver for 20 years prior to ranching.
He was preceded in death by his father, Victor Forslund; and uncle Tom Kinsworthy.
Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth; one son, Clint Forslund; one daughter, Heather Langton; a baby granddaughter, Harper Violet; one sister, Elizabeth McCormick; several cousins, nieces, nephews; and Aunt Anita Halverson of Glasgow; as well as Jack and Pearl Nickels.
Bell Mortuary of Glasgow is in charge of arrangements.
