Delores 'Dee' Luckman

Delores "Dee" (DeDobbeleer) Luckman, 81, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, June 4, 2014.

She was born May 2, 1933, in Glasgow, the daughter of Roy and Helen (Czyzewski) DeDobbeleer. She graduated from Glasgow High School in 1951. After graduation from high school, she attended the University of Montana in Missoula for one year. She then returned to Glasgow, where she worked as a bookkeeper and secretary. She moved to Seattle, Wash., in the fall of 1956, where she married Jack L. "Mick" Luckman. The family moved to Pasadena, Calif., in 1960. In 1964 the family moved to San Clemente, Calif. In 1974 the family moved to Sunnyvale, Calif., where she worked for many years as a bookkeeper / secretary for several psychiatrists.

She was a remarkable person with a boundless capacity for love, compassion and caring. She loved playing bridge, tennis, being outdoors, and traveling to her condo in Mexico. She loved staying busy and active. Above all, she also had a genuine love for her family and friends and treasured the time spent with them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack "Mick" Luckman, in 1983; and by her loving partner of 30 years, Richard Paveza in 2013.

Survivors include children, Tana Pool and her husband, Jim, Trina Correa and her husband, Jay, Randy Luckman, and Rod Luckman; eight grandchildren, Kacie Pool; Jason, Aaron and Taryn Correa; Amanda and Shane Luckman; and Jordan and Tyler Luckman; brothers, James (Bus) and Donald DeDobbeleer of Glasgow, and Barry DeDobbeleer of Seattle, Wash., as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

There will be a celebration of life event in Roseville, Calif., at a date to be announced later. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Glasgow High School Educational Trust Fund, Glasgow, MT 59230 (established under the name Jack "Mick" Luckman).
