You Can Still Take The GED Here

I began teaching the GED classes in Glasgow in fall 2013. It was rewarding and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would get such a feeling of accomplishment when a student got their GED. Most of my students were able to get better jobs and some went on to college or some sort of technical training. What an accomplishment on their part.

Three or four years ago Glasgow lost its funding for the GED class. I continued to hold class one day a week since that time. However, as with all of life, things change. It has become more difficult for me to get down to Job Service to hold class. Although there will no longer be GED classes taught in class here, the GED test will still be given.

There are very good internet ites you can use to prepare for the GED, such as http://www.gedforfree.com, http://www.gedtestingservice.com/testers/test-on-computer, or http://diplomaaccomplished.com for more information. If you do not have a computer, you can always use one at the library.

You can also call Mike at Glasgow Job Service, 228-9369, and he will help get you started.
