Glasgow Man Faces Five Counts, St. Marie Man One
Two Valley County men were arrested Monday on various drug charges.
Mark Alan Wagoner, 51, of Glasgow faces five counts, four of them felonies. Douglas Michael Turner, 25, of St. Marie has one felony charge against him.
Acting upon information received, Valley County sheriff’s deputies made a traffic stop as Wagoner and Turner were coming into Glasgow on Sept. 8. Search warrants were served and the vehicle was seized. The two men were released at that time.
The vehicle was searched and a large amount of what the deputies suspect is marijuana, hashish and oxycodone was found, according to Chief Deputy Reed Mesman.
When the two men were arrested, Wagoner was charged with criminal possession of dangerous drugs with the intent to distribute, or in the alternative, criminal possession of dangerous drugs (marijuana), and two more charges for criminal possession of hashish and oxycodone. He was charged with criminal possession of property subject to forfeiture (the pickup that was used to transport the drugs). He also faces a misdemeanor charge of criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was jailed on $45,000 bond.
Turner was charged with conspiracy to commit criminal possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, or in the alternative, criminal possession of dangerous drugs. He was jailed on $20,000 bond.
Wagoner bonded out of jail on Tuesday and was promptly re-arrested on further misdemeanor charges, according to Valley County Sheriff Glen Meier. He was charged with criminal possession of dangerous drugs (marijuana) and drug paraphernalia. Meier said Wagoner would probably be released Tuesday on an additional bond of $2,370.
Meier said the Sheriff’s Office is continuing the investigation and he anticipates more arrests.
