Festivities Get Going Friday, Sept. 20, With Parade
The Glasgow Area Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture will once again be hosting the Saskatoon Police Pipe Band during the 2013 Glasgow Scottie Homecoming Festival weekend.
The band will be a part of the Scottie Homecoming Parade on Friday, Sept. 20, at 2:30 p.m., the Scottie Booster Club tailgate party at GHS at 6 p.m., and halftime of the Scottie vs. Shelby football game.
On Saturday morning the band will perform at the Kiwanis Club Pancake Breakfast at 9 a.m. They will also play at the start of the varsity volleyball game against Plentywood at approximately 3:30 p.m.
Due to lack of participation, the outhouse races have been canceled this year.
At 5:30 p.m. the annual Pub Crawl will begin at the Sagebrush Lounge.
The Pipe Band is sponsored by the Glasgow chamber, GHS Student Council, Kiwanis Club and the Scottie Booster Club.

Friday, Sept. 20
2:30 p.m. – Homecoming Parade, downtown Glasgow
6 p.m. – Scottie Booster Tailgate Party at GHS
7 p.m. – Glasgow Homecoming football game and half-time show – Glasgow vs. Shelby Coyotes
Saturday, Sept. 21
7-11 a.m. – Kiwanis Breakfast (Band plays at 9 a.m.)
11 a.m. – Band plays at Nemont Manor
11:30 a.m. – Band plays at Prairie Ridge & Lunch
3:30 p.m. – Varsity volleyball game at GHS

7:20-8 p.m. – Montana Bar
