Funeral services will be held at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Nashua on Friday, Sept. 6 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Bonnie Novak officiating. Burial will take place at Nashua Cemetery.

She was born on Jan. 8, 1941, in McCone City, Mont. She attended Nashua Public Schools and obtained a GED. She enjoyed many hobbies, including sewing, crocheting, quilting, candy making, cooking, baking and her parakeet, “Baby.”

At the age of 12, she started working at her aunty Ida’s restaurant in Scobey. This is where she learned all her great cooking skills. She spent many days packing boxes for North American Van Lines in Glasgow. After packing houses at the base, she went to work on the sewing line for Avco at Glasgow Air Force Base. She became the sewing line supervisor in a short time.

Sewing was an occupation she enjoyed. She sewed clothes for many people, including her three kids, and even worked at a costume shop. While working at the costume shop, she and Bud participated in the Pet and Doll parade wearing Mickey and Minnie Mouse costumes. This was a prestigious event for her.

She worked hard raising three children and two grandchildren, plus babysitting numerous kids, but the biggest job she had was taking care of Bud for the last 10 years.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, both her parents, one sister and four brothers.

Survivors include two daughters, Pamela Weinmeister and her husband, Don, and Wendy Brandt and her husband, Dean; one son, Konrad Fuhrmann and his wife, Tammy; four sisters, Phyllis Huston, Geraldine Dahl, Karen Fuhrmann and her husband, Larry, and Jackie Bird and her husband, Bob; one brother, Kermit Flom and his wife, Sharon; seven grandchildren, David Weinmeister and his wife, Robin, Nick Weinmeister (Claudia Fischer), Tabitha Weinmeister (Jerami Brandt), Heather Field and her husband, Justin, Heidi Brandt, Tia Fuhrmann (Justice Mael), and Kurt Fuhrmann; and three great-grandchildren, Ethan and Cora Weinmeister and Mirax Lipscomb.
