Howard Keith Clark, 56, died from kidney and liver failure on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, in Wolf Point, Mont.
He was born to Emily Eunice Bluehorse and Donald Gale Clark on June 25, 1957, in Wolf Point. He attended schools in Oswego, Frazer and Wolf Point, and Kicking Horse Job Corps for heavy equipment.
He enjoyed walking everywhere he went, continually turning down rides. He enjoyed playing cards and especially loved playing a good game of pool. He was especially proud of the many jackets he won over the years from playing in the Wolf Point City Pool League.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and always had a good old back-in-the-day story to tell, and each time he told it, it only got better.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Emily Bluehorse; his father, Donald Clark; a grandmother, Laura Wetsit Wells; two grandfathers, Valentine Demus Wells and Michael Bluehorse; and three baby brothers, Preston, Keith and Michael.
Survivors include siblings Rochelle Jackson of Wolf Point, Terry Lorge of Billings, Keven Jackson of Wolf Point, Beverly Lamb of Wolf Point, Lanette Clark of Wolf Point, Lana Zigan and her husband, Dave, of East Helena, Sydne Scooter Campbell and her husband, Norman, of Wolf Point, Sylvia Skeeter Campbell and her husband, Tracy, of Harlem, Chrisandra Martell and her husband, Joe, of Billings, Terry Clark Youngbull and her husband, John, of El Reno, Okla., Donna Clark of Poplar, Errol Standing and his wife, Stephanie, of Billings, and Darrell Jackson Jr. of Wolf Point; many nieces and nephews; his companion, Hope Montoya; and his best friend, his dog Buddy.
A wake was held Thursday, July 18, at 7 p.m., and the funeral was held Friday, July 19, at 10 a.m., followed by a four-day feast, all at the Oswego Community Hall.
He will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends.
