Eleanor Spence

Eleanor E. (Eggers) Spence, 77, of Valentine, Neb., died July 2013 in her home.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Torrington.

She was born July 2, 1936, in Torrington, Wyo., the daughter of Wendell and Mary (Annan) Eggers.

On June 1, 1958, she was married to James D. Spence in Henry, Neb. The couple was blessed with two sons, James and Kent.

She lived in various locations in eastern Wyoming, Nebraska and Montana, spending most of her time in Valentine, Neb., and Fort Peck, Mont.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wendell and Mary Eggers.

Survivors include two sons, James and his wife, Kathy, of Lincoln, Neb., and Kent and his wife, Pat, of Omaha, Neb .; one sister, Marcia Hort of Torrington; and four grandchildren, Zac, Shawn, Scott and Tyson.

Holmes Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
