Seriously though, then what? Where does the poo end up? In the ground? Does it float away in the Milk River? Or does it just plain old disappear?

Here is the public’s opportunity to learn about the city of Glasgow’s state of the art waste water treatment process. On Friday, Aug. 2, the city and representatives from Morrison-Maierle Engineers will host an open house from 4 to 7 p.m. at Glasgow’s new treatment facility located behind the Sullivan Park ball fields.

Construction of the new $4.7 million facility was recently completed and represents the first treatment facility of its kind in Montana.

As a public utility funded by city user fees, the Public Works Department feels the community should have the opportunity to learn about this vital process and see how their money has been spent building this facility to promote public health and safety and to protect Montana’s water resources.

Please join us on Aug. 2 for light refreshments and a tour of our community’s new wastewater treatment operation. Beer will be served for 21 or over, soda and other refreshments for youngsters. Come on down, bring the family, drink a brew, and see how we get rid of the poo!
