For the 15th time in 20 tries, Montana defeated North Dakota in the Knights of Columbus Badlands Bowl on Saturday in Miles City.
Montana jumped out of the gates for a 29-point lead in the first quarter en route to a 43-29 victory in the 20th annual game between the two states. North Dakota tried to wage a comeback in the second half, causing a few turnovers, but Montana ultimately defended their home turf at Connors Stadium, raising their record in Montana to 9-2.
The game is comprised of stars from across the state of Montana and through all classes. Malta’s Tucker Schye represented District 2B and was named Montana’s defensive MVP.
