How Convenient

Do you remember the days before convenience foods and delis? Of course, that means no McDonald's, A&W or other drive-thru quick stops either.

I started wondering the other day just what past generations did for convenience meals. The only thing I could come up with was maybe the hot dog and/or Spam.

If you do remember those bygone days, you will acknowlege just how far convenience foods have come over the years and just how simple and, yes, good they have gotten.

Not that they hold a candle to homecooking.
