Robert H. Dulaney, 83, of Glasgow, Mont., died of natural causes Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at the Benefis Hospital in Great Falls, Mont.
He was born on July 17, 1929, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the son of Herman and Esther (Muklebust) Dulaney. He was raised at Fort Dodge, graduated from Fort Dodge High School, and attended a Junior College in Fort Dodge. He served in the Army National Guards.
On Jan. 27, 1956, he married Lois Haugen in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He worked at the hospital there for many years as a medical technologist and then moved to Glasgow and worked at the Smith Clinic until it closed. Then he worked at the Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital Lab and in Cut Bank for three years before retiring in 1998. Robert worked the past three years as the custodian at the First Lutheran Church in Glasgow.
He loved fishing and target shooting, boating, camping, barbecuing and gardening. He really enjoyed having his family around.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Dulaney of Glasgow; two sons, Mark Dulaney and his wife, Debbie, of Glasgow and Todd Dulaney and his wife, Connie Jo, of Great Falls; one daughter, Lori Milbrandt and her husband, Bruce, of Cut Bank; one sister, Donna Kent; one brother, Jim Dulaney of Green Valley, Ariz .; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 13, at 3 p.m. at the First Lutheran Church in Glasgow, followed by interment in the Highland Cemetery in Glasgow.
Bell Mortuary of Glasgow was in charge of arrangements.
