    GWENDOLYNE HONRUD THE COURIER The North Country girls basketball team claimed the District 3C title, the first of what is surely hoped to be three post-season titles as they look to bring home the state hardware this year.     In a somewhat surprising boys 3C championship game, Scobey handed Lustre Christian their first loss of the year. The Spartans defeated the Lions by a single-point in the low-scoring game 34-33.     The 19U Ice Dawgs traveled to Woodland Parks in Kalispell for games against Salmon and Flathead this past weekend. Glasgow came up just short against Salmon, losing both games by a 4-3 margin. The Dawgs fell to the Flathead Fusion 8-0 and 6-0 in each of those two match ups.     The Glasgow Area Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture held their 24th Annual Ice Fishing Derby this past Saturday at the Dredge Cuts Trout Pound. Jaxsen Diesen, a 9-year-old from Miles City, caught the tournament winning fish on his grandfather Joel Reagor's hole. He snagged a 0.48 lb. rainbow trout at 12:16 p.m. for the $2000 first prize.
