The Frazer Bearcubs track team made the trip to Whitewater April 21 for the Penguins Invitational, one of the few sporting events to move forward with unusually cold spring weather in the region. Frazer’s boys team scored 26 points to claim fifth place at the event. The Bearcubs 4x100 meter relay team of Malaki Smoker, Jonathan Jackson, Ty Fourstar and Blue Fettig took second place with a time of 58.91 seconds. Hinsdale attended the Whitewater Invitational April 21 where the girls team took fifth place with 22 points. Zora Holt, Mattea McColly and Cienna Strommen score points for the Raiders. Holt claimed second in the 3200 meter run with a season record time of 14:44.25. She placed fifth in the 1600 meters after running the race in 7:38.48. Holt also ran the 300m hurdles, taking eighth place with a time of 1:28.56. Wow! Great job Highlanders. We tied a club record by bringing 53 kids to the big dance: the Montana Open at the Metra this weekend. It was a monumental weekend for the Glasgow Wrestling Club. After coming up just a half point short of the Large Team Girls State Championship in 2021, the Highlander Girls came out with intensity and won the 2022 Large Team AAU State Championship.
