The Lions defeated the Fairview Warriors 48-42 Friday and downed the Plentywood Wildcats 52-24 Saturday. The High School Ice Dawgs dropped both games in Miles City this past weekend, losing 10-3 Saturday and 6-1 Sunday to the Generals. Glasgow took the lead first Saturday on a goal by Tatum Hansen, assist Michael Hoyer, but the Generals tied the game. Bode Barnett netted a short-handed goal to put Glasgow up 2-1 after one period. The Milk River basketball team was set to attend the Special Olympics Montana State basketball Tournament in Butte Nov. 10-12 but winter hit the state and disrupted Glasgow's travel plans. Rather than travel across the state in treacherous conditions for the 89-team tournament, the hoopsters of Milk River made the shorter trek to Sidney for a friendly game against the Eagles.
