The Scottie football season came to an end Nov. 2 with a first round playoff loss to the Eureka Lions. Glasgow lit up the scoreboard first but the Lions put up two quick touchdowns in the third quarter to take control of the game and go on to win 35-14. The Glasgow Scottie volleyball team won two of four matches at the District 2B Volleyball Tournament in Malta, held Oct. 31-Nov. 2, for the right to advance. Glasgow takes their third place showing in Malta to the Northern B Divisional Tournament in Shelby this weekend. The Lustre Christian volleyball team’s 2024 season ended Nov. 1 at the District 1C Tournament in Plentywood. The Lions fell to the MonDak Thunder and the Richey-Lambert Fusion. Lustre Christian opened the tournament Thursday in a match against MonDak. The Lions dropped the first two sets but fought back to win the third and fourth games. The Frazer Bearcubs volleyball team ended their 2024 season at the District 1C Tournament held in Plentywood Oct. 31-Nov. 2. Frazer faced the Froid-Lake Redhawks in the opening round of play Oct. 31. The Bearcubs lost in three sets 12-25, 11-25, 6-25. The loss sent Frazer to the back side of the bracket to face the Culbertson Cowgirls who had lost to Plentywood in the first round. The cross country teams from Frazer, Nashua and Hinsdale competed at the MHSA State Cross Country Meet Oct. 26 in the final event of the 2024 season. Frazer The Frazer boys scored 225 points for 20th place while the girls scored 209 for 12th place. Gabe Beston led the boys team with a 15th place showing out of 128 runners. The Scottie girls cross country team scored 243 points at the MHSA State Cross Country Meet Oct. 26 to take sixth place. The Glasgow boys put up 355 points in Missoula for 13th place. Glasgow’s football team came home from Fairfield Oct. 18 with a dominant 32-6 win. The Scotties are now 3-1 in the conference with a 6-2 overall record. “Big conference road win to lock up the 2 seed in the North.
