For the Courier From Jan. 17 What a start to the 2023 Glasgow Wrestling Club season! Our Highlanders scored 191.5 points to win the Medium Team Title at the Miles City Invitational on Sunday. The event featured wrestlers from 17 different clubs. We were the fifth-largest team at the event. We sent 44 grapplers and at the end of the day, GWC had crowned 10 Individual Champions and 28 top-three finishers. The coaches are very happy with our progress in just three practices. From Jan. 22 The Highlanders split up this weekend and experienced a lot of success at both events. Forty-six wrestlers stayed close to home and competed at the Wolf Point Invitational, while 21 veterans attended the Wild West Championship in Casper, Wyoming.
