    The Glasgow Kiwanis Swim Team brought home 28 top-five finishes – five of which were first places – from the Scobey Invitational held June 17 and 18. Kila Tatafu won the girls 100 IM 8 & under as well as the 25 breast. She also took second place in the 25 fly to earn high point winner for the girls 8 & under category.     The Glasgow Reds opened up at home June 15 with two wins over the Glendive Blue Devils. They split their doubleheader June 17 against the Miles City Mavericks in Glasgow before dropping a set of games to the Mavericks on the road the following day. The Reds owned their first game agains the Blue Devils, taking the game by a score of 21-5 after scoring 10 runs in the first and fourth innings to shut the game down early.     The Reds baseball team opened their 2023 season at the Doug Johnsrud Invitational in Watford City, N.D., this past week after canceling their home season-opener against Laurel June 3 due to field conditions. Glasgow went 2-2 in Watford City with wins over the Williston Oilers and the Froid Bulls while dropping contests to Billings Upper Deck and Watford City.     The Glasgow Kiwanis Swim Team opened their 2023 season in Plentywood this past weekend, marking the first time the athletes have been in a pool. Despite that, members of the Thunder team earned 18 top five finishes with five first place showings. Holt Huntsman led the Glasgow boys in three top places, winning the boys 50 free, 50 fly and 200 free in the 11-12 year old bracket.
