    After being confirmed early last week that the Glasgow Scotties softball team will travel to play the Quad at Colstrip, as it has been all season, the universe had other plans for the team.     Kaitlyn McColly, of Hinsdale, was named North Star Athletic Association Women’s Track Athlete of the Week for her efforts in the Blue Hawk Games, the league announced Wednesday. The sophomore captured a pair of titles for Dickinson State in the Blue Hawk Games. She produced the NAIA ‘B’ provisional qualifying time in the 100-meter hurdles, clocking a time of 14.63 seconds.     After spending the first week of practice at the simulator a month ago, the Glasgow Scottie golfers were ready to get some outside competition in, under the direction of fourth year head coach Todd Truscott.     The Scottie Booster Club is currently accepting applications for 2023 Jeff Jurgens Memorial Scholarships. The competitive annual scholarships are awarded to Valley County’s graduating seniors (Class of 2023) who played basketball in high school or who plan to pursue a degree in a medical or health-related field.
