    The Scotties dropped a 38-6 non-conference football game to the Huntley Project Red Devils Sept. 1 on the road. Glasgow scored once in the second quarter while Huntley Project put up points in all four quarters of play. The Scotties’ record is now 0-2 on the 2023 season. The Red Devils scored on a 1-yard touchdown in the first quarter and added the PAT after a successful kick attempt.     The Frazer Bearcubs hit the Poplar Cross Country Meet Sept. 2, showing strong improvement. All five members of the boys team set personal records while two of the three girls established season records. The boys team scored 111 points to take fifth place.     The 2023 Scottie football season kicked off Aug. 26 with Glasgow hosting the Shepherd Mustangs. Glasgow dropped the opener 28-8 after Shepherd scored three times in the final quarter.
