The boys team took third place with 40 points, placing behind Havre, 12 and Harlem, 14. Jarvis Goodbird placed the Bearcubs with a time of 19:26.1 and a seventh place finish out of 47 competitors.     Glasgow hosted their Scottie Invitational at Fort Peck Sept. 30, part of the week-of-the-year Homecoming festivities. Twenty schools brought their cross country runners to hit the redesigned course at the Downstream Campground. The Scottie girls ran away with first place, scoring 37 team points.     Glasgow made good on their 2023 Homecoming theme as they wiped out the Cut Bank Wolves in a 28-12 victory Sept. 29. The Scotties received first and scored on their first possession of the game, sending a packed stadium to its feet.     The Hinsdale cross country team attended the Scottie Invitational at Fort Peck Sept. 30 with both Raider runners setting personal records.     North Country’s volleyball team picked up a win over Brockton last week before competing at the Choteau Tourney Saturday. The Mavericks downed the Warriors on the road Sept. 28 in three sets 25-1, 25-16, 25-13. As a team North Country put up 28 aces, 24 kills, 20 assists and 14 digs.
