Glasgow’s boys basketball team fell in their season opener, dropping a 54-48 contest to the Class A Red Devils in Glendive Dec. 1. The Scotties fell behind 19-9 at the end of one and trailed 38-23 at the half. Glasgow battled back in the second half, outscoring Glendive 15-8 in the third and 10-8 in the fourth quarter. The Scottie boys wrestling team started the season with a 13th place showing out of 24 schools at the Sidney Eagle Invitational, held Dec. 1 and 2. The North Country Mavericks basketball team lost their two first games of the season as they fell to the Jordan Mustangs on Friday, December 1, and the Melstone Broncs on Saturday, Dec. 2.
